There is no complicated paperwork and no need to visit in advance to sort documents. Everything is simple, clear and designed to get you started as quickly as possible.
What is included in the price?
Your self storage price includes business rates, water and security. There are no hidden fees. And contents protection is available at check-in for added peace of mind.
Can I cancel with no notice?
At Rainham Self Storage, you can vacate your unit whenever it suits you, with a minimum notice period required. Our standard storage runs on flexible monthly terms that continue until you choose to end your rental.
If any promotional offers apply, a minimum storage period may be required.
Is there a team I can talk to?
Yes! Our Customer Service team is available 7 days a week:
Monday–Friday: 9am–6pm
Saturday: 9am–4pm
Sunday and most bank holidays: 10am–4pm

Are the spaces insured?
Rainham Self Storage offers protection options for your belongings, and you are also free to arrange your own third party insurance if preferred. It is important to ensure your items are covered in line with your policy requirements.
We take storage security seriously, with strong measures in place to protect both our customers and their belongings at all times.
Are you protected from damp and flooding?
Yes, Rainham Self Storage is designed to high standards to help protect your belongings from damp and damage. Our facility is clean, well maintained and built to provide a safe storage environment.

Can I use my own insurance instead of StoreProtect?
Yes, however not all insurance policies cover items stored in self storage. If you are using your own insurance, you may be asked to provide proof of coverage that meets the following requirements:
Your name should match the policy details
The policy should include cover for fire, flood, theft with forced entry and damage
The storage location should be included or covered within your policy terms
The insured value should reflect the total value of the items being stored

Do you have snack machines / refreshments on site?
We don’t have vending machines at our locations. However, our storage facilities are conveniently located near local cafes and amenities.
Can I pay online or with a credit card?
